but first, we got the train from Glasgow - across and via Edinburgh and on the way down the east coast we went past a remote installation (power station I think) right on the coast.

and going thru Newcastle (which looked quite interesting) I snapped Michael while he was looking the other way.

we arrive in London ! . . .
In some parts of London vicious gangs of youths roam the streets ! Well, when I say vicious, they were chewing gum agressively and not keeping left.




No, we didn't go up in the London Eye. It just seemed TOO touristy !




A fine example of the monumental concrete style of the 70's on the south bank, not far from the Tate Modern.


Part of our stroll along southbank included the Tate Modern - very impressive frontage !

... also Shakespear's Globe theatre - we plan to see one of his plays there next time we're down there.
