Ian: It's the end of November and as you can see, it's getting dark early now - this is 4:15 in the afternoon.
One more month to equinox, and the days start lengthening again.
You really have to make the most of the daylight when it arrives at 8:30. Quite a regular drizzle or rain for the last few weeks, but most mornings are fine with the sun shining. Inside our double-insulated cocoon I dont realise how cold it is outside or know whether it's raining or not !

and back at the beginning of November, the christmas ornaments went on sale ...

A friend told us about this neat little cafe with a relaxed, 'student' ambience. But you'd have to know it was there ! - off on a side street and down a lane way (with very discreet signs) and then around the corner before you see the entrance. The Tchai Ovna Tea house was great, with every kind of tea. Only two dishes to choose from the day we went, goulash and a tagine, both vegetarian and both superb.

View from the entrance, the Kelvin river rushing with it's usual abundance of water.

and I took this yesterday - how different the parks are without leaves.
